Lately people start noticing my new 'me', they said, I am slimmer than before. Ha..ha..ha...really? Yeah, I lose some unwanted kg's...but not as much as I hope to accomplish. When people start asking me on the method use, normally I resorted to safe answer like, you should go for healthy eating and acceptable exercise regime. I did not blurt out all the truth like...you should register yourself at slimming centre...nayyyy, they would not do the extreme. Unlike me...he...he...he...
Hemmm...I've been with this slimming centre since April this year. My very first and I hope the last one too. You see, since my latest child (now 2 yrs old) was born, I can't seem to reduce , not even a 100 gram...and looks like they tend to grow. I've tried to control eating, then, it stop increase, but , that's it. No reduction. Just static. My motivation was low and it did not help to create a good incentive/reason to really embark on one 'real' slimming program. At that juncture, I started to think that, perhaps I need professional help to kick off with this. So, I started surveying all the slimming centres available in KL and finally, pick this 'one'. I am not going to give it any free avertisement here so, it will remain anonymous.
To tell you the truth, the slimming centre can only assist you and recommend you on how to shed your extra weights. They have in-house nutritionist to advise on healthy eating, how much portion you should take of certain foods, what to eat, when to eat...bla...bla...bla...and they have all the equipment/technology to help burn your fat and accelerate your metabolisme. How much you can reduce and at what rate, really depend on you. So, basically, you paid the slimming centre to tell you what you should do (back in your mind you already aware of the facts) so that you can start losing your weight. And if you fail to reduce, they will accuse you of not following the diet plan and that you are undiscipline. So, it really is not a big deal signing for one coz the result would very much determined by you. Of course, if you really follow the recommendation, you will lose your weight faster. The issue here is whether you are determined enough to do it, plus the high fees that you need to provide.
The fee is quite high for moderate income earner like me. But, the reason I am into this is due to the fact that "once I paid the fee, I feel committed to do it to recoup back the value of the money invested'. This is sort of motivation to me. I "have" to do it. And it work to me compared to the conventional method like, stop eating rice, fasting throughout the week bla..bla..bla...coz I can change the rule whenever I like. Since they monitor my weight , I have to ensure I don't add the losing weight back for I hate them lecturing me on the need to stick to the diet plan. It's suck! Overall, all this keep encouraging me to just do it once and for all. Plus, I now know more on healthy eating and healthy living. So, my focus does change as well, from wanting to get slim to wanting to have a healthy body. Once you realized the impact foods/nutrition have on you , then, you'll understand what to eat & to avoid. With that, I am now a healthier woman and happy as well. I will continue with this healthy practice throughout my life and will encourage my family & friends to do the same.
